Early last week, one of the reports indicated that Oppo R15X and Oppo K1 beta program will go live for early adopters on June 29. The day has arrived and the news proved to be accurate, although it is only meant for users in China. It is to note that the program limits a quota of 5,000 users in total for both Oppo R15X and Oppo K1 devices.
The program requires early adopters to register by heading to Settings> Software Update> Upgrade early adopters> ColorOS 7 official version early adopters. You are required to fill in the required information, check the early adopter’s notice and privacy policy, and tap Apply Now to be part of the beta program. In order to register, you must be on the latest version C.62 on both Oppo R15X and Oppo K1 devices. Once successfully registered, the users will be receiving the beta update on their devices within the next 3 days.
It is expected that the ColorOS 7 beta update program will soon be available for both devices in other markets. The early adopters registered for the beta update will get their hands on the new features offered by Color OS 7 well before the update is rolled out to the general public.
In last few weeks, Oppo has been rolling out ColorOS 7 to a lot of other devices eligible for the update. If you’ve received the ColorOS 7 update on your Oppo device, we ask you to share your experience if the update is treating you well.
