OPPO, earlier with its revolutionary device – Find X was successful in grabbing the eye-balls towards it. To maintain the momentum and elevate the brand recognition, the Chinese firm is all set to unwrap a new device under its F-Series branding. Courtesy to the official Twitter handle of OPPO India, the OPPO F9 Pro is going to hit the Indian market soon.
Meanwhile, OPPO Malaysia Twitter handle has teased the launch of the standard OPPO F9. Hence it’s confirmed that we’d be able to see at least two variant of F9’s launch in coming days. Also, the OPPO F9 will be launched in Malaysia and other Southeast Asian country. While the supposedly tacked up version of the OPPO F9, the OPPO F9 Pro is destined to hit India.
As per the teasers, both the F9 and F9 Pro flaunt the so-called – “waterdrop screen design” with a screen to body ratio of 90.8%. To much excitement, the devices do have notch on their foreheads, but honestly very small and reduced similar to the Essential Phone.
We don’t have much credible information regarding the F9’s other than what all we can deduce from the teasers. Looking at the teaser images, it’s almost certain that the F9’s will be waterproof with at least IP67 certification. Moreover, since the F-Series are selfie-focused devices, we could expect a massive front-snapper just like the predecessor OPPO F7.
That said, whether the both OPPO F9 and OPPO F9 Pro will be separately available in India and Malaysia is uncertain as of now. Anyway, the OPPO F9 launch in Malaysia is set to happen some time around August. The same can be expected in the case of F9 Pro in India as well.
