Every month Oppo releases a roadmap for the deployment of Android 11 based ColorOS 11. According to the June 2021 rollout schedule, the Oppo A53, A54, Reno, Reno2 Z, and the Oppo F17 will grab the package this month. Moving ahead with the timeline, the company is treating its last device on the list, Oppo F17 with the current stable operating system.
The latest firmware for Oppo F17 is rolling out in India. It will probably reach out to other countries after ensuring that there are no critical bugs. The smartphone was released last year in September with Android 10 based ColorOS 7.2 on board. This major update brings a whole new experience to your smartphone.
Concerning features, the update will bring the latest Android 11 traits to your devices. The goodies in the OS include Chat Bubbles, one-time permissions, new dark mode, improvements to Always on Display, Flex Drop, Super Power Saving Mode, and much more.
Moreover, these will further be tossed with Oppo’s customized skin, ColorOS 11. This includes new themes, wallpaper, AOD mode, UI changes, fingerprint animation icon, enhancements in Oppo Relax, new gestures, google lens integration, Game space, improved battery performance, and the list goes on.
As usual, the update is having a phase-wise rollout. You will shortly receive the OTA build if you are an Oppo F17 user in India. In case you have not received the firmware, you can flash it manually by heading to the device Settings -> Software Updates -> Check for update -> tap on Download and install if the update is available for your device.
