Oppo has unveiled a new entry-level smartphone in India— Oppo A57. The smartphone sits over Oppo A56 which was launched last year in October. Let’s take a detailed look at the specifications, price, and other details of the device.

The latest Oppo A57 is built around a 6.56-inch HD+ LCD display with a layer of Panda MN228 Glass protection on top. The panel offers a screen resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels, a 60Hz refresh rate, a 269 PPI pixel density, a 60Hz touch sampling rate, and 600 nits peak brightness.
Under the hood, an octa-core processor based on MediaTek Helio G35 SoC powers the Oppo A57. The chipset is integrated with PowerVR IMG GE8320 GPU and is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. For software, the phone comes pre-installed with Android 11 tossed with ColorOS 12.1 on top.
In terms of camera, the Oppo A57 houses an 8MP snapper on the front for selfies and video calls. At the back, there’s a dual-rear camera setup consisting of a 13MP primary lens and a 2MP mono sensor.
In addition, the smartphone packs a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 33W SuperVOOC fast charging. The other notable features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a Type-C port, a micro-SD card slot, Dual-SIM, 4G, and Bluetooth 5.3. Also, it is IPX4 and IP5X rated, making it dust and splash-resistant.

The Oppo A57 arrives in Glowing Green and Glowing Black color options. The handset is priced at Rs 13,999 for its sole 4GB + 64GB storage configuration.
