[Update: Android 13 Update] Oppo A53 Updates Tracker

In August 2020, Oppo officially launched the Oppo A53 smartphone with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD. Under the hood, the phone equips Snapdragon 460 Chipset along with Android 10 pre-installed. In the shooting section, the device holds a triple rear camera indulging a 13MP primary lens and a couple of 2MP lenses. On the other side, there’s a 16MP single front-facing snapper.

• [April 24, 2023]: The Android 13 is available for Oppo A53s 5G with official ColorOS 13 update. It is currently rolling out to users in India. Android 13 for Oppo A53s is rolling out with build number F.30 and it’s available on ColorOS 12 build C.16/C.17.
• [October 4, 2021]: The Oppo A53 is receiving a new update on the firmware version CPH2127_11_C.16 weighing 599MB in size. The build enhances the security by adding the September 2021 security patch. To mention, it is based on ColorOS 11.1 (Android 11).

• [April 27, 2021]: Oppo A53 is receiving the Android 11 based ColorOS 11 beta version update. The update is rolling out in India and Indonesia as of now and will reach other regions soon. The update changes the smartphone’s build number to A.69/A.77. The users need to register their devices to receive the ColorOS 11 beta version update and experience its features. As the update is having a phase-wise rollout, it may take some time to reach all the units. In the meantime, you can head to Settings > Software updates > Security updates to check the update manually. Also, we suggest you switch over to a WiFi network before downloading the update to avoid data charges.
