After the successful launch of the Oppo Reno 6 series in China, the company started working on a new model, Oppo A16. So far, the smartphone has been bagged several certifications including FCC, BIS, IMDA, EEC, and TKDN. Oppo A 16 has now appeared on Malaysia’s SIRIM and Thailand’s NBTC certification sites with model number CPH2296.
Now that Oppo A16 has received all the major certifications, it seems that the launch is not far away. The device could arrive as the successor of the December 2020 launched Oppo A15.
Concerning specifications, unfortunately, we have nothing new from the new listing. Though, the FCC listing had revealed some specs before. According to the FCC certification, the phone will measure 163.78 x 75.62mm with a rectangular camera module at the back.
Under the hood, Oppo A16 will have Android 11 based ColorOS11.1 on board. The smartphone will ship with a 5,000 mAh battery that will support 10W of charging. Regarding connectivity, it will come with usual features such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
The rest of the specs are still not revealed and this is all we have on the upcoming Oppo A16 at the moment. But, as said, the device is expected to launch soon. Let’s hold on and see what else Oppo has packed into this new device. Stay tuned for more updates.
