Oppo has been bringing out some good Android powered smartphones for some time now and we have another one from the smartphone manufacturer. The Neo 5 which is the successor to the Neo has been made official in Malaysia and will start shipping to its customers next week.
The smartphone will be priced at $198 when it hits stores next week and packs specs that are too good for that price. The 4.5″ screen’s resolution has been measured at 854 X 480 pixels, which churns out 218 ppi. On the back sits a 5 MP snapper along with an LED flash. Under the hood lies a Snapdragon 400 chipset with a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz along with 1 GB of RAM. 4 GB has been made available as the internal storage space which can be expanded further via a microSD card.
The phone runs on Android 4.3 Jellybean with Oppo’s ColorOS UI and is powered by a 1,900 mAh powerhouse that lies beneath the back cover.
Though Oppo has not announced anything else yet, we can expect the device to be made available in other markets around the globe soon.
