OnePlus pushed the stable OxygenOS 13 update for the OnePlus 9R and 9RT in November 2022. The brand later pushed OxygeOS F.12 update for the OnePlus 9RT with some improvements. A few days back, we reported an abnormal battery drain issue in the OnePlus 9 smartphones after OxygenOS 13 update. To fix it, OnePlus has started rolling new updates for the OnePlus 9R and 9RT. The update for the OnePlus 9R comes with firmware version LE2101_11.F.19 and is live in India.

It integrates December 2022 security patch and fixes the abnormal battery draining issue. The update fixes widgets not adding to the Home screen issue. In terms of network, WiFi has been improved, and Bluetooth failing issue has been solved. Other fixes include the display not working properly with some notifications and certain brightness levels. OnePlus also fixes the display issue with photos from the OnePlus 9R. In contrast, the update for the OnePlus 9RT comes with firmware version MT2111_11.F.13 and is live in India.
Like OnePlus 9R, it also gets a December 2022 security patch, an abnormal battery drain issue fix, and improved system stability and performance. OnePlus improves the mobile data connection and improves the stability of WiFi. It also fixes the problematic issue where virtual buttons and navigation gestures don’t work. Another fix is the display issue while pulling the Quick Settings panel. The update is rolling as OTA and will take some time to reach all units. The OnePlus 9R and 9RT users can also check for updates manually.
