OnePlus has recently revealed its flagship smartphone OnePlus 6 in a number of countries including India. The device has super impressive specifications, however, a great software is always needed to drive the mighty hardware. A few days back OnePlus has released the OxygenOS 5.1.6 update for the device but due to some unknown reason, the update was full of several bugs. Now after considering the feedback of users OnePlus has released the new OxygenOS update for Indian uses. So without wasting any time let’s know more about it.
Recently OnePlus has rolled out the OxygenOS 5.1.7 update to fix the issues caused by 5.1.6 version of OxygenOS. But this update was not made available to the users of India. OnePlus has earlier announced the Indian users will directly get the OxygenOS 5.1.8 instead of the version 5.1.7. Like always OnePlus has kept its promise and the OxygenOS 5.1.8 is currently in rollout phase. The update weighs around 102MB and as described by changelog.
- Optimized call quality,
- Fixed system stability issues,
- Improved network stability and bug fixes.
The update seems to be tiny in size but doesn’t underrate it. As described the OnePlus the update involves all features that were rollout in the OxygenOS 5.1.7 update. For more in-depth info take a look at the above-posted screenshots of the device which have received the update recently. Being an incremental update it will be available to a small majority of users for now and in the upcoming days will be delivered to all the devices. For more Android stuff stay tuned to GoAndroid.
