OnePlus is known to offer best-in-class specs and latest features in a competitive price tag. Just a couple of months ago, the company introduced OnePlus 5 as latest addition to its flagship series. The device was introduced with some major upgrades over its popular predecessors, the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T.
Surprisingly, the latest OnePlus flagship omitted optical image stabilization along with 4K video recording stabilization. It was seriously not expected from a company that promises to offer ‘flagship killer’ devices.
Last week, the company has released a software update (OxygenOS 4.5.8) to fix this issue. This update adds electronic stabilization to the OnePlus 5 which is now capable of shooting at 4K resolution.
The company took considerable time to bring this much-awaited update, but its finally here and you can now enjoy watching seamless 4K videos on your OnePlus 5.
OnePlus has now posted a short video-clip via it’s official Twitter account that compares before and after 4K EIS update. The video shows an energetic puppy, happily running around while whoever is behind the phone chases the puppy.
Further, it has some stair-climbing and walking around to show off EIS capability added to your device. You can check out the video by clicking the link below.
