According to the OnePlus update policy, the Nord series is eligible to receive only two major Android updates. However, the company never disappoints to deliver monthly bumps to the OnePlus Nord 2 5G. The latest build for the device can be identified by the firmware version OxygenOS A.14.
The information was revealed by the OnePlus community forum, according to which the new package is rolling out in North American, Indian, and European markets. The Nord 2 5G variants in NA are getting updated with the DN2103_11_A.14 firmware version. While for the Indian markets, the number varies to DN2101_11_A.14. On the other hand, the European build is bundled with the version number DN2103_11_A.14.
As far as changes are concerned, there are no new additions or any other significant changes on the table. However, it does optimize the system stability, ensuring a refined and hassle-free performance. Also, it enhances privacy by inculcating the month-old security maintenance, November 2021 for the EU and NA models. FYI, the Indian OnePlus Nord 2 5G variants already run on this patch so, there’s no bump for them.
As usual, the OTA update is having an incremental rollout. Accordingly, it will hit a limited number of users initially, making you wait for a few days. Meanwhile, you can also track the update manually via the Software update section under the Settings app.
