OnePlus 5 is set for a global launch on June 20. However, Indian users need to wait for a couple of more days to get their hands on the OnePlus 5 as the device will launch on June 22 in India. OnePlus 5 has already created a lot of hype among masses with recent leaks and rumors. This time, OnePlus took the opportunity by releasing an advert that reveals OnePlus 5 full details during India and Pakistan Champions Trophy Final match on June 18.
The company knew that it is the grand stage and there’s no better time releasing an advertisement about the upcoming flagship. The CT 2017 final match between arch-rivals India and Pakistan guaranteed millions of viewers that would help the company in capitalizing market share of its long-awaited device even before its release.
The glimpse of the device during the advert shows the same design as indicated in the leaked renders. The company revealed upcoming smartphone’s rear and front panels showing full hardware details. It confirms that the smartphone will have a full metal body design. As rumored, it sports a dual rear camera setup and camera lenses are placed horizontally on the top left of the phone with the flash right next to the camera module. It also houses the fingerprint sensor which is placed at the front just below the display.
Furthermore, the advertisement also shows that the smartphone will be Amazon exclusive, just like its predecessors.
