The Chinese tech giant recently launched the OnePlus Ace smartphone. Now, the company has added a second device to the lineup with the introduction of the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition. Here is a detailed look at the specifications, price, and other details of the latest OnePlus smartphone.
Up at the front, the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition features a punch-hole display at the top of a 6.59-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD screen. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate as well as a 240Hz refresh rate.
Under the helm, a MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max SoC powers the smartphone paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. For software, it boosts Android 12 OS out of the box along with a layer of ColorOS 12.1 on top.
In the shooting department, the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition houses a 16MP front-facing camera. On the other side, there’s a triple-camera setup. The capacity of the module stands at a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro snapper.
In addition, the device ships with a 5000 mAh battery with 67W Super Flash charging support. The other specifications include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, AI face unlock, a 3.5mm headphone jack, etc. However, there is no external support to expand memory.
The base 8GB/ 128GB and median 8GB/ 256GB model of the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition costs ¥1,999 and ¥2,199 respectively. On the other hand, the upper 12GB/ 256GB variant is priced at ¥2,499. For now, the handset is limited to China, while we expect it to launch in India soon.
