However, the OxygenOS 13 Open Beta in India brings several new changes and even brings compatibility for the Airtel 5G. Interested users can install the OxygenOS 13 Open Beta, but make sure they are running the latest and stable OxygenOS 12 (C.35) firmware.
Note: The Open Beta builds are not stable, we don’t suggest updating the device if it is your sole daily driver. Some issues are still prominent in the build.
Below are some known issues present in the first Open Beta build for the OnePlus 9R.
Known Issues– Abnormal display of charging prompt under screen lock.– Video below 300K resolution recorded by the camera cannot be sent via MMS.– More function icon in the editing interface of the control center is displayed incorrectly.
However, the OxygenOS 13 features are present with the build, and most of these work flawlessly.
Note: Only update if you have more than 5.5GB of internal storage available on the device and if it is running on OxygenOS 12 (C.35) update.
The OxygenOS 13 Open Beta is only available for the OnePlus 9R India variant. You can head over to the official thread to upgrade to the OnePlus 9R.
