OnePlus is always developing something, this time it is OnePlus 6T, successor of the OnePlus 6. It is yet to release by the end of this year, so the rumors and leaks are always here for it. Today, OnePlus has confirmed via a mail sent to tech media, that the OnePlus 6T will carry on-screen fingerprint scanner. OnePlus is referring this tech as “Screen Unlock” and even pushed the below image:
Last year, OnePlus want to add this technology to the OnePlus 5T, but the technology at that time was not mature enough. This time, they have made their mind and has added the ion-screen fingerprint in the OnePlus 6T. In the poster above we can see the fingerprint icon at the bottom of the screen.
OnePlus 6T will be slightly thick then the OnePlus 6 by 0.45mm. Also, OnePlus is going to rearrange some internal components to make space for more battery or something else.
It is expected to come by the end of November and is expected to arrive in the U.S. via T-Mobile. The would be same as that of the OnePlus 6 at $559 (INR 39,999).
Additionally, OnePlus 6T is expected to carry Snapdragon 855 with 6/8GB of RAM. There are also rumors of powering it with Snapdragon 845 with waterdrop display.
