OnePlus is now seeding the December Security patch update for OnePlus 5 in India. After commencing the same update on HydrogenOS in China, the company is now rolling out a similar update for global variants of OnePlus 5 and 5T smartphones.

The new update features December Security patch for enhanced security. It also eliminates potential bugs that could pose serious threats to user data. OxygenOS 9.0.10 also packs general bug fixes to improve the overall performance and stability of the OnePlus 5 smartphone.
We suggest users switch to WiFi networks as the update weighs around 475 mb and the user can save some bucks using carrier data. It is also recommended that the device should have nominal free disk space for a successful installation. The users need not panic as it may take some time to reach each OnePlus 5/5T unit. However, the users can manually check for the update by heading to the Settings>System>System Updates.Â
