Finally, OnePlus 5, the most anticipated flagship of 2017 is ready to roll out just next week. As we all know, the device is set for a global launch on June 20. Starting today, JD.com has opened the bookings for the upcoming device in China. As per the website, more than 50,000 devices have already been booked. The smartphone will be available for purchase in China from June 22 via JD.com.
As the launch date is just around the corner, it is now confirmed that the device will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 processor paired with either 6GB or 8GB RAM, depending on the variant you choose. The device will be available with storage variants of 64GB or 128GB. The handset will sport a 5.5 inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels.
On the camera front, the handset boasts a 16MP dual rear camera setup and an 8MP front-facing camera. Other features include dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB v2.0, and Type-C 1.0 reversible connector. OnePlus 5 will run on Android 7.1.1 out of the box. However, the pricing details for the upcoming device are yet to be disclosed.
