OnePlus is rolling out Android 9.0 Pie beta build for OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T devices in China. The new update has just started rolling out as a Hydrogen OS 9.0, a China-based ROM as like of Oxygen OS. There are plenty of new things and features that have been added to this latest alteration. Along with the new enhancements, there are some new bug fixes that have been added to the HydrogenOS 9.0.
As going with the changelog, it carries an all-new User interface for the onePlus 5 and 5T. It will also be incorporated with the all-new Android Pie screen touch gestures. OnePlus has made new amendments in handling the background apps which will result in better efficiency and improved performance. Even, you will find a new caller ID UI with new features on the board.
Although, OnePlus has already delayed the Android 9.0 Pie update for OenPlu s5 and 3 series devices. This gesture has again made the users get ready for the update on their OenPlus 5 and 3 series devices. If it is going to be like OnePlus 6, then you might expect a final update within just a few days. As in the case for OnePlus 6, the Chinese smartphone maker started testing the beta build on Septemeber 3rd and finished with a stable build on September 21st.
There are still many chances that the new update might take some time for the Global version. OnePlus 5 and 5T Global variant are still left without any beta testing of the new Android 9.0 Pie based ROM.
