Just a month and few days of Open Beta testing. Finally, the stable build of Android Oreo based OxygenOS is now welcomed by both OnePlus 3/3T users with utmost joy. Indeed, astonishingly earlier than we expected. The Oxygen OS 5.0 OTA update weighs in at massive 1490 MB in size.
Apart from bringing the major OS bump to Android Oreo 8.0 to the device, the OxygenOS 5.0 carries plethora of new features and UI changes. Keep in mind that the update is hitting all of the OnePlus 3/3T users and not just to the Open Beta enrolled users.
There are lot more changes that have been made live in the OnePlus 3 update. Along with the usual Android 8.0 Oreo features, that OnePlus packed in the update. There are some changes in the launcher of the device along with September security patch inbuilt.
