OnePlus 3, which launched this year with some of spectacular specs, is going to get Stable version of the Android 7.0 Nougat by the end of this year. OnePlus 3 has gone out of stock many times due to its immense popularity.
Talking to Engadget, OnePlus’ head of software Brian Yoon has said that they are getting ready to rollout Android Nougat beta by the end of this month. Further, final stable version will be out before the end of this year. It’s quite impressive that Oneplus is not only giving updates to latest phones but they are also going to do same with OnePlus 2. Yes, you heard it right, Brian Yoon has also confirmed the OnePlus 2 Nougat release but no timeframe is given.
Additionally, to remove confusions and streamline the development on one OS. OnePlus has merged the Hydrogen OS into the Oxygen OS earlier this year.
