OnePlus is rolling out a new update to its last year flagship devices, the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. The OnePlus 3 is receiving the Oxygen OS Open Beta 20 and the OnePlus 3T tasting the Open Beta 11 update. The new update comes with several bug fixes and improvements. The beta updates also brings in a few new features to both the devices.
Optimizations And Bug Fixes:
The optimization change-log includes, Battery saver indication changed from orange status bar to a notification, Optimized calculation method for data usage statistics, tracking is now more accurate.
Further, they have Optimized expanded screenshot. Now it supports capture while gifs and videos are playing and Visual effects improvements for Weather widget.
These updates were common for both the OnePlus devices. They also received bug fixes for some 3rd party app crashes, weather forecast retrieve bug and a bug that incorrectly displayed the battery status of connected bluetooth devices.
The update is being sent out to the Beta users currently. You can also download the One Plus 3 Open Beta 20 from here and the One Plus 3T Open Beta 11 from here if you can’t wait to get your hands on the new features. But backup your important data before installing the update.
We expect the Beta build to become stable in the upcoming months so that normal users could also start utilizing these new features.
