Soon after the stable Android 13 update was released to Pixel smartphones, many brands started rolling out their own UI’s on top of Android 13. Samsung was such one brand that pushed the One UI 5.0 beta updates for its Galaxy S22 series. Samsung has already pushed the second beta update for the Galaxy S22 series. There have been no confirmed dates for the stable One UI 5.0 update for the Galaxy S22 series. However, it isn’t the case now, and a tipster has shared some information about the public rollout of the update.

According to a Korean tipster’s tweet, the One UI 5.0 update will officially start rolling out in October 2022. He adds that the Galaxy S22 series will receive the update on October 17 or 19. He explicitly mentions that the public rollout of One UI 5.0 will be on top of Android 13. It is good to see Samsung rolling out the stable update in October.
There are chances for an earlier rollout if the beta update program finishes earlier. Samsung would have completed testing the beta software by then.
