Owners of the Xperia XA2 have to be more happy as they are finally getting a custom recovery and that too official. It’s to be noted that no unofficial version of the TWRP is available till now. Hence, direct access to an official build is something great. However there is a catch, MTP is non-functional as of now. We can expect it to be fixed soon in upcoming releases.

That’s it, users willing to flash the recovery on their devices can do so by Official TWRP app, provided the device is rooted. Or, running certain command lines on a suitable terminal app installed on the device can also do the job. If non-rooted, the users have to flash the recovery via Fastboot.
