Guys this is the stat of recent HTC and Apple patent Settlement Deal. Going into detail HTC now free from any lawsuit by Apple over the world for next 10 years. According to Sterne Agee analyst Shaw Wu “conversations with industry sources” reports that HTC will pay $6-$8 to Apple per every Android phone sold. HTC sells around 30 million Android smartphones every year. So if we do some maths that its estimated that HTC will pay $180-$280 Million every year to Apple.
So similarly HTC also pays $5 to Microsoft and now if we total, sum reaches to $11-$13 per every Phone. SO guys this is not good for HTC as its already struggling to get profits and to find space in market. But what you think guys? Share your views via comments.
