Nothing Phone (1) made its debut a few months ago with an overwhelming glyph feature. Without a doubt, the London-based company rivals Apple considering the design aesthetics of its products. Despite being a young brand, Nothing has crossed the limitations and made tech fun again.

However, Nothing hasn’t rolled out its custom OS based on Android 13 for the Nothing Phone (1) yet but is confirmed to get the update by the first half of 2023. The brand is focusing on 5G services support, improved features, and enhanced stability.
An increment over the recently announced NothingOS 1.1.5, the company rolled out NothingOS 1.1.6 with added Google AR Core support, and Reliance Jio True 5G services compatibility in India.
Talking about the camera, Sharper videos with improved stability, and always-on by default recording light indicators have been added by the update. The UI feels more fluid, the battery status display became more accurate, and the NFC sound effect has been improved. Moreover, the display’s maximum brightness while displaying HDR content has been improved.
There are also some improvements in Glyph, issues are also fixed with the update. The Flip to Glyph is now more reactive and the Glyph charging light now gets synced to the sound effect.
It is an incremental update and will take some sort of time to reach every user. It weighs 62.04 MB in size. We can also expect Nothing OS based on the Android 13 release announcement from the brand in the next few months.
