The first software update for the Nothing Phone (1) in India weighs about 148MB to download. Although, it does not bump the firmware version. FYI, the smartphone will get three major Android updates and four years of security patch updates.
Considering changes, the package elevates the user experience by bringing optimizations across the system, including the camera and battery. Moreover, it brings along plenty of improvements like Glyph Interface effects, Camera app Ul, and fingerprint recording and unlocking. In addition, the build packs Connect to Tesla feature as well as the new FT widget. Besides, it addresses some general bugs and revamps system sounds. As usual, the OTA update will have an incremental rollout. The first software update may come pre-installed with your new Nothing Phone (1). Otherwise, you might receive the notification on day one.
