Nokia has launched four smartphones till now in 2017. And while the company isn’t setting any new standards it does want to get the basics right. One of them is near to stock Android. Since the launch of the Nokia 8 happened close to Android Oreo release, concern regarding the same is natural. Nokia, however, has been quick to clear things up. From the return debut with HMD, Nokia’s key principles have been better software service.
All of our smartphones will upgrade to Oreo, Nokia 3 included. No comments yet on timing so that I don't get into trouble ????.

So, it is good that the company has acted fast to let its customers know the timeline for Android Oreo. Juho Sarvikas, the Chief Product Officer at HMD Global, made it clear that all Nokia phones will be making the jump to Android Oreo. However, Sarvikas didn’t mention any dates or schedules.
His confirmation comes even when other major OEM’s have not declared anything regarding their flagship devices except HTC. Also, since all these phones have been unveiled in 2017, this is to be expected. Theoretically, all these devices should get Android P too. But that is something we will have to discuss next year.
