This time Nokia really wants to go ahead of the other smartphones, but how is it doing it? Nokia is sending latest Android updates even to ones available at affordable prices. Most of the smartphone companies lack this. And Nokia is using it to make itself a name back in the competitive industry.
Nokia’s new devices Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and Nokia 8 are its latest devices. The best part about these devices is that they are not only having awesome features, but at affordable prices. And along with all this, Nokia has been sending regular firmware updates to all it’s devices.
Recently, Nokia has started rolling out Android Nougat 7.1.2 update for Nokia 6. It is an over the air (OTA) update.
The update is quite big i.e. 664.5 MB in size. Along with Android Nougat 7.1.2 Nokia has also sent the August security patch. So keeping security in mind users need to immediately download and install it. Along with security the update also adds a few enhancements to the device.
So if you want to know whether you have received the update or no then just Go to settings, then device settings, then click on about phone. Then just click on system updates. Most probably you must have received the update. If you haven’t then you can wait.
