HMD starts rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo update to its first gen Nokia 6. Second Gen of Nokia 6 which was launched recently already gets the Android Oreo update. Coming back to this news the Nokia 6 (2017) with model no. TA-1000 and the Global TA-1003 versions.
The update weighs around 1659 MB in size. It is packed with Android 8.0 Oreo which packs with Picture in Picture mode, auto fill, notification channels, new revamped settings app, new notification center and several others. Along with all these update is also packed with Settings UI, enhanced power saving and background activity manager. HMD also tuned the low-light camera output.
As this is an OTA update it will take some time to reach each and every user. However, you can also check the update manually by going through the settings>>about phone>> software updates.
Note:Â As it is a large update connect to WiFi network before downloading the update. Moreover, charge your phone upto at least 50% before installing the update.
