HMD starts rolling out July Security patch on Nokia 5 and Nokia 6. The update comes to the phones with model no. TA-1021 (Nokia 6) and TA-1053 (Nokia 5). The update only contains the security patch only.
The update weigh about 140 MB in size on Nokia 6 and on Nokia 5 it weighs around 145 MB. Nokia 6 and Nokia 5 update comes with critical fixes for security vulnerability in Media framework, with which you phone can be accessible to remote attacker. It also includes some more fixes which improves the performance of Android system.
The update is currently rolling out as OTA. So it might take a couple of days to reach each and every unit. If you did not receive the update notification than you can check it manually by going through the settings>>about phone>>software updates.
