After a long wait, Nokia has launched the Nokia 5.1 plus aka Nokia X5 in India at the price of Rs 10999. It was first launched in China a couple of months back as Nokia X5 at a similar price. THe device is now available in India with some mid-level specs. It will be available on sale starting October 1st from Nokia.com and Flipkart.
Nokia 5.1 Plus packs MediaTek Helio P60 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM. It features a display of 5.86 inches having 2.5D curved glass on the top with the resolution og 720 x 1520 pixels. It features full view display with a display notch having an aspect ratio of 19:9. Further, Nokia 6.1 is Android One device which runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. As it’s under the Google’s Android One, it will get the latest Android updates until the next three years.
In-camera department, Nokia 5.1 Plus features a 13 megapixel + 5-megapixel dual shooter on the rear side. There’s another 8-megapixel front sensor having a f/2.2 aperture. In connectivity, there’s a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, face-unlock, 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and USB-C.
It is available in two different colors, the one is Gloss Black, and the other is Floss Midnight Blue. There’s only a single 3GB RAM + 32 GB internal storage variant.
