Nokia 3310 (2017) lands in India at Rs. 3,310

Nokia 3310, the iconic feature phone finally makes a comeback and is now available in India. It is the most anticipated phone since it was announced at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017.  HMD Global, the finnish independent company holds exclusive rights to develop and market smartphones and feature phones under the “Nokia” brand. The company has confirmed that the Nokia 3310 (2017) will be available in India from May 18, 2017 (Thursday) at a price tag of Rs. 3,310.

The feature phone, will be available across top mobile stores in India in four colors – Warm Red and Yellow, both with a gloss finish, and Dark Blue and Grey, both with a matte finish. It sports a 2.4-inch QVGA display and packs a 1200 mAh battery that claims to last a standby time of up to 1 month. It also features 2 megapixel camera with LED flash, Bluetooth 3.0 and USB connectivity option and supports 2G Internet access. The phone comes with 16MB internal storage and is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).

Among other features, the phone has a built-in FM Radio and MP3 player. Just like original Nokia 3310, the feature phone comes pre-loaded with the Snake game, that has been optimized for the color screen. It seems that the game is going to be even more addictive with better graphics and new obstacles that have been added to the game.

On the launch event of Nokia 3310, Ajey Mehta, VP-India, HMD Global, said, “Talk all day on a single charge, send texts, take pictures and enjoy a pocket jukebox with a built-in FM Radio and MP3 player. Our reinvention of this classic design is sure to make you smile. It’s got everything you remember, but with a modern twist. So whether you’re after a feature phone that offers amazing battery life in a head-turning design or a companion phone, the Nokia 3310 won’t let you down.”
