Nokia 3.4 may get Android 11 update as per Geekbench listing

HMD Global is constantly releasing the Android 11 update to its eligible flagships. A handful of devices by the company including Nokia 5.3, Nokia 1.3, and more have bagged the update so far. The latest one to join the list could be Nokia 3.4. The smartphone was launched last year in September with the Android 10.

Recently, Nokia 3.4 has made multiple appearances on the Geekbench database running Android 11. This probably indicates that the smartphone is in the final phase of testing the latest stable operating system.

If our assumption stands true, Nokia 3.4 users can use all the extensive Android 11 features on their handset. Android 11 brings new traits like chat bubbles, notification history, priority chat function, improved media controls, one-time-permission improvements, dark theme schedule, smart device controls, and much more.

According to the revised timeline published by Nokia Mobile, the smartphone was scheduled to receive Android 11 in Q2 this year. However, we are almost at the mid of the year 2021 and the handset has not bagged the new software yet.

Where other OEMs are preparing and testing the Android 12 version, Nokia is not even following its revised roadmap. But you can visit our dedicated article to know the Android 11 update schedule for the rest of the devices by the company.
