Nokia is rolling out the December security patch to the recently launched Nokia 2. It seems little late but ‘late is better than never’. Nokia 2 is getting its due care from the developers as it is getting regular security updates since its launch. We expect the same for other devices too from Nokia.
Nokia 2 is getting the December security Patch in India in a 88 MB package. The Nokia 2 (TA-1011) is not the only device getting this update. There are Nokia 5, Nokia 3 and Nokia 6 which are also receiving the update. The update is now out in India and will be gradually hitting other markets also.
We suggest you to turn on your WiFi to save additional costs. ALso keep you battery charged before updating your device.
The udapte packs all the security patches that have been added by Google. All the major security loopholes are fixed in this update which were reported until November. The udapte will improve the security and the overall stability of the device.
We recommend you to update your device as soon as possible. Nokia is quite consistent in providing the regular security patches to all of its devices. We hope that Nokia will continue this streak in future also.
