HMD Global-backed Nokia has been known to push frequent Android updates. It had recently announced a revamped update timeline for Android 11. Nokia has now started rolling out the Android 11 Go update to the Nokia 1 Plus to the wave 1 market. However, Nokia is going to release the update in stages. The update will roll out in waves.
Android 11 Go Update markets
Nokia has revealed that it plans to roll out the update region-wise. This is done to ensure that if there any critical bugs, they are ironed out in the initial stages. Users in the regions excluding the ones listed below will be the first to get the Android 11 update on their Nokia 1 Plus.

To recall, with Android 11, Google had introduced more privacy features, dynamic media controls, an in-built screen recorder, and numerous other features. Nokia has also mentioned in their community post that 30% of the Nokia 1 Plus users will receive the update today, 50% on June 4th. And remaining users will get it by June 5th.
Nokia 1 Plus Specifications
Nokia 1 Plus sports a 5.45″ LCD display panel. The device is powered by the Mediatek MT6739WW SoC. This is a quad-core processor. It features a single 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The device is fuelled by a 2500 mAh BAttery and charges via the onboard micro-USB port. It runs the Go version of Android. For those unaware, Android Go is a lighter version of Android designed to be used on devices running low-end hardware.
As the Android 11 Go update for Nokia 1 Plus is being rolled out in a phased manner, users are advised to stay patient for the update.
