Xiaomi is all set to announce their next high-end device – the Mix 2S on March 27. But, new leaks continue to emerge along with the official teasers for the device. The new teasers from Xiaomi confirm there won’t be any notch on the top right corner for the camera as it was leaked earlier.
The new teasers show off the Mi Mix 2S in the hand of Kris Wu who is the brand ambassador for this upcoming smartphone from Xiaomi. As you can see from the teaser images above, the Mix 2S doesn’t seem to have a notch for the camera like it was leaked a few months back.
This means the front camera will be still featured in the bottom part of the phone which is a strange choice by Xiaomi. Because the previous generations of Mi Mix were criticized for that positioning of the front camera.
In another occasion, Xioami’s CEO Lei Jun posted some invitations for the launch event of the Mix 2S which will be held on 27th March in Shanghai. According to his post, 10 lucky attendees will win a round trip to Paris, France to visit the Centre Pompidou – the largest modern art museum.
Moving on, a new retail box sticker leak confirms that the Mix 2S will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. And above all, it also confirms the existence of 256GB ROM / 8GB RAM variant. Thus, there’s nothing much left to know about the device except for the rear design.
