The ability of a phone to switch on the device and perform actions without even touching the phone is a well very hyped feature (We also featured Hovering Controls which use Proximity Sensors to Control your device). The feature seen in the 2013’s Motorola’s Moto X and Droid Line can now be seen on a few more devices as Google Play has an application which can help us achieve this task.
The sad part is in the description of the Google Play is that the
Touchless control is only supported on:
The minimum requirement for the Application to work is just Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The 8 MB sized application has gone through 1000 downloads in less than 1 day.
The Application has a lot to offer like we can call contacts without touching and just saying the name of the person. Also just say “OK Google Now” and wake your phone up to respond to every word you speak.
Download the application here.

Was really hoping that I could get this feature on my Nexus 4. I'm sure someone is currently working on it already. If not, I'm expecting to see it in the Nexus 5.
