After facing criticism, Motorola seems to speed up its software update schedule. In the last couple of months, the company has pushed Android 11 to several devices. Starting with Motorola G Pro, followed by Moto G8 and G8 Power, Moto Razr G, and Verizon’s Motorola Edge+ being the latest one.
According to the Moto Updates Tracker group, the company has made way for Android 11 to reach the standard Motorola Edge as well.

The latest software carries the firmware version number RPD31.Q4U-39-26-4. Although there is no official changelog published by Motorola, it is likely to bring Android 11 attributes like chat bubbles, native screen recorder, smart media control, device control, one-time permissions, and so on with a bump in security patch level and common bug fixes.
The update is only out in Brazil at the moment for the Dual-SIM variant of Motorola Edge with the model number XT2063-3-DS. However, it is soon expected to see unfurling in other countries as well. On the other hand, the release of the Android 11 update for the Motorola Edge is yet to be confirmed by the company.
