Verizon starts rolling out Android security Patch for the month of October on Motorola Droid Turbo 2. The new update comes with firmware version 25.226.5.kinzie_verizon.verizon.en.US. Recently Moto Z2 Play gets the October security path on verizon network.
Coming back to the Droid Turbo 2, the update is packed with minor bug fixes and stability improvements. The main highlight of the update is October security patch Which fixes 215 vulnerabilities in the Android operating system. Although its November, but for a 2 year old phone this good to see company is still providing security updates. Though the Droid Turbo 2 is running on Android Nougat and there is no hope for Android Oreo.
The update is rolling out over the air in US. So if the update is not popped up on your phone don’t panic it will reach you in couple of days.
