The Moto Z2 Play is unofficially being sold on Amazon in the US. The Dark Gray unlocked version is available through a third party other than Motorola. The device was brought first to the US by Verizon and is already up for pre-order in the UK.
If you are seriously thinking of buying the device, do take note that the phone is being sold $100 excess if its actual price of $499. That is when it will be sold in US later this Summer. One more compromise you will have to make is that it will be a GSM/LTE device only. That means it will not work with Sprint or Verizon or US Cellular.
The Moto Z2 Play is a super slim device with modularity options. It comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display and Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Beneath the surface, the Snapdragon 626 runs the show coupled with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. Also, the device is juiced by a 3000 mAh battery. Moreover, tt has a 12 MP sensor with PDAF at the back and a 5 MP sensor on the other side. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
