Rumors and leaks for a major source of our news about upcoming devices. However, they are not always correct and the news can only be confirmed when the device is released, photographed or spotted on one of the bench-marking websites. With the Moto Z Play which already has had its share of leaked images, its the latter case as the device has been spotted on GFXBench, a popular benchmarking website.
Not only does this spotting confirm that the device will soon be out, the specs of the device were also confirmed and are in line with what TENAA revealed some time back. To list a few, the device runs on Android 6.0.1 and is powered by an octa-core CPU clocked at 2.0 GHz and a Snapdragon SoC. Other specs include a 5.5″ full HD screen, 3 GB RAM and 32 GB on-board storage. The rear shooter is a 16 MP unit that comes with auto-focus, face detection, HDR, touch focus and 4K. The device is expected to be made official by Motorola on September 6th.
