A flash sale is on for Motorola’s Moto X on Motorola’s official site. The flash sale, which began at EST 12.00 A.M. will go on for 48 hours. The device is being offered $100 cheaper at an off-contract price of $349.
The Moto X, which was launched in 2013 and was also the first phone under the ownership of Google has been receiving positive reviews so far. The Moto X sports a 4.7″ 720p display, a 10MP shutter on its back and a 2200 mAh battery to keep the device running. Under the hood, you will find a 1.7 GHz snapdragon S4 Pro CPU along 2 GB of RAM.
The Moto X was the first device to incorporate the ‘always listening’ feature in it. Another feature in this smartphone is the Active Display which uses just a part of the display screen to display the time or the notification, saving on the battery life.
The news for the flash sale comes 2 days after Motorola announced that it will be shutting down its Texas facility where the device was being manufactured.
