The Moto Razr 2022 is all prepared to make its debut in China on August 2 alongside the Moto X30 Pro. Before the official launch, the upcoming foldable by the company made an appearance on the Geekbench benchmarking website. Here is a closer look at the key details of the device we know so far.
To recall, the Moto Razr 2022 will sit over the Moto Razr 5G, which was launched a couple of years back. On the Geekbench 5 listing, the smartphone bears the model number XT2251-1. It has managed to score 1251 points in the single-core round and 4076 points in the multi-core round. Further, the portal reveals the processor, operating system, and storage configuration of the upcoming handset.
Under the hood, the Moto foldable will draw power from an octa-core processor with 1 + 3+ 4 core configuration and codename oneli. This indicates the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The chipset is integrated with Adreno 730 GPU. In addition, the website confirms a 12GB RAM model. However, we can expect more storage options as well. As for software, the phone will boost Android 12 out of the box.
To recall, the design of Moto Razr 2022 was officially teased by the company recently. The device features a center-aligned punch-hole cutout that is likely to house a 32MP unit. At the back, it will carry a dual-camera set-up along with an LED flash.
As per rumors, the handset will sport a 120Hz 6.7-inch pOLED folding display and a 6.2-inches folded screen. For optics, the Moto Razr 2022 can house a 50MP primary unit and a 13MP ultra-wide lens on the rear side. Furthermore, the smartphone can cost €1,149 (~₹94,360) in Europe in Quartz Black and Tranquil Blue color options.
