Motorola’s Moto Maker, which lets you customize your smartphone according to your choice before you buy it is down for a ‘tune up’. Now this could be a normal thing where an online store is down for some time is  but rumors has it that Motorola is following in the footsteps of Apple by taking their online stores offline for some time in order to stack up the new phones.
While it is not really necessary to take the store offline, this is nothing but a marketing strategy that creates excitement among the public.
Motorola has a lot under the covers right now that it schedules to unveil at their event scheduled for 4th September. Unfortunately, Motorola will not be seen at the IFA. You can expect Motorola to unveil the long pending Moto 360 smartwatch along with Moto X+1, Moto G2 and a Bluetooth handset.
