Finally, Motorola has started to rollout the Android Oreo update for Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus. It’s been a long time since the users were waiting for the Oreo update. Google has already rolled Android Pie on the Pixel devices, some devices are getting the Android Oreo now. Well, it’s always late is better than never, so thanks to Motorola that they have rolled the update.
Moto G5 users might be quite happy with the Android Oreo rollout on their devices. As of now, the rollout for Moto G5 is only available in the Mexico and we have no news regarding the rollout in other countries. On the other hand, Moto G5 Plus is getting a new update in India and Brazil. The update is rolling out to both the devices in a phased way, users have to wait for a week for the update to reach them.
Motorola has confirmed that the update will be available in all the regions for Moto G5 series but no exact details have published yet. So, Moto G5 users residing in the Mexico can enjoy the Oreo, others again have to wait for sometime. Similar is the story with the Moto G5 Plus users who are not residing in the Brazil and India, where the update is rolling out.
