Moto G With Kitkat To Ship In India And The US

As we know after many rumors Moto G was Announced Couple of days ago at an event in Brazil. Earlier we came to know that it will ship with Android 4.3 on board but for some countries Moto G has preinstalled Android 4.4 Kitkat. Those countries are the US and India.

As a refresher, Moto G includes  a 4.5-inch display at 720p. It’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor at 1.2 GHz and sports 1GB of RAM. Motorola’s pushed a 2070 mAh into this thing, noting 14 hours of talk time. And Most Importantly its priced only for just $179 for 8GB and for 16GB, you’ll pay just $199.

According to Mark Randal, Senior Vice President, Supply Chain & Operations at Motorola, Moto G will be coming with Android 4.4 pre-loaded in India, US and other South-East Asian countries, where the phone is being launched in January 2014. Here’s are the original words of Randal, “Wave two, products that we ship after Christmas, will start with KitKat. So if you think about it, everyone by the end of January will have KitKat. Wave 2 is in the U.S., there’s South East Asia and other countries.”
