Moto C benchmarks scores showed up at Geekbench

In past few years, Motorola has been quite impressive with its Moto G and Moto E line of smartphones. Both smartphone series are very popular among budget and entry-level smartphone users. Motorola knows that entry-level smartphone market has a lot to offer in some developing markets. Considering this fact, Motorola lately launched its cheapest line of smartphones, Moto C and Moto C Plus. Now, the phone has made its way to popular benchmarking site Geekbench giving us a fair idea of its performance.

In the single-core test, Moto C scores 451 points whereas the multi-core test takes it to 1260 points. The phone is an entry-level device powered by Mediatek MT6737 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. Hence, it cannot be compared to any medium or high-end device in terms of performance. Moto C runs stock Android with no bloatware, therefore, you can expect good performance compared to other smartphones in the same category.

Both Moto C and Moto C Plus pack MediaTek MT6737 SoC clocked at 1.1 GHz and 1.3 GHz respectively. Moto C comes with 1GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage, while the Plus variant gets either 1GB or 2GB RAM with 16GB storage. There is a huge difference in battery capacity of both smartphones, as Moto C packs 2,350 mAh battery while Moto C Plus has a large 4,000 mAh battery.
