Micromax, an Indian company has launched A116 Canvas HD. Its predecessor of A110 Canvas HD which has gained much popularity in India. This new flagship device runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, sporting a 5” 720p IPS HD display with 294ppi pixel density, up from 196ppi, running on a quad-core (a 1.2GHz MediaTek MT 6589) processor with 1 GB of RAM.
Micromax A116 Canvas HD is dual SIM device to seprate your personal and business lifes. It has a 8MP rear camera with LED Flash and a VGA front-facing camera. It also shows off a PowerVR SGX5 GPU. With its 4GB of internal storage is packs 2100 mAh battery and the usual connectivity options like 3G GSM, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS.
After launch the device will be upgradable to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean also.

Micromax A116 Canvas HD will go on sale starting first week of February in India for a price-tag under INR 15,000 ($280).
