Last year in October, Xiaomi introduced the Mi True Wireless Earphone 2 TWS earphones. Reportedly, the company is now preparing a new generation of the accessory. An unannounced version of the earphones have bagged Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) certification. That means it will probably arrive as the Mi True Wireless Earphones 3 Basic or Mi True Wireless Earphone 2 Pro. Let’s explore what the WPC listing reveals about the new device.
If we talk about the Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 basic, it comes with 14.2mm drivers. Concerning features, they offer touch gestures for numerous functions like play/pause, changing tracks, answering/rejecting calls, and activating voice assistant. In addition to this, the earphones feature dual-mic ENC for unitrrupted voice calls. It supports Bluetooth 5.0 and the company claims a 20 days of battery backup at a single charge.

As per the picture, both case and earphones will debut in black color unlike its predecessor. The arrival at WPC reveals the design of the new Mi earphones along with the fact that it support for up to 1.5W wireless charging.
