Facebook’s F8 Developer Conference is taking place and lot of new stuff has been announced. The main announcement coming from the event is that Facebook has now given the ability to the developers to attache their apps to the facebook Messenger directly.
Facebook will provide you with three dots on the Facebook Messenger from where you can install these third party apps. For Example you can have Giphy for sending Gif images to your friends. Similarly there will be apps that will provide you a new culture on the FB Messenger.
Another thing we have received is the Businesses on Messenger. This feature allows customers to communicate with businesses using Facebook Messenger.
Here’s what Facebook says:
Once there, people will be able to receive relevant messages from the business including order confirmations and shipping status updates, and will be able to take basic actions like modifying, tracking or returning an order. People will also have the option to ask a business questions, make requests and get quick responses. This whole set of interactions and features are unified in a single, ongoing thread between the person and the business.
